Tomorrow is October 5th, national "Do Something Nice for Someone" day! A day that reminds us to reach out to strangers and those we love to perform simple acts of kindness. These small gestures of kindness can make a big impact on the world around you, hopefully starting a chain reaction of people "paying it forward." The world would be a better place if we all took the time to do something nice from time to time!
How many times have you been stranded on the side of the road, dialing AAA and wishing someone would stop and help you out instead! I know we all have stories like this, standing under the pounding sun, dead battery, and cars keep on flying by! This is the day where we decide to be the person who stops and gives that car a jump start! Here are some things to consider when you are on the road and want to do something nice for someone!
Let people pass - It can be difficult to do this at the moment, but statistically, it will keep you safer, and maybe it will let the other person reach their destination faster!
Help someone with a flat tire - We have all been in this circumstance, and it is so much easier to deal with if you have a bit of help. If you see someone stranded with a flat tire, stop and help them change it out!
Help someone push their car - This is another common scenario that we have all been in at one time or another. Many people keep on driving and don't worry about your situation. Instead, take a couple of minutes to pull over and help the person push their car into a safe location.
Our community means everything to us at CARSTAR Robert's Collision & Repair, if we see you out on the road we will be sure to pull over and help you out! Experiencing car trouble happens to all of us, but it is so much easier to deal with if someone extends a kind hand to help.
