I resolve to stop as quickly as possible when faced with an emergency situation. I resolve to respond quickly when my gas pedal is pushed, my steering wheel is turned, my brakes are applied, and when my human is running late. I resolve to provide warmth when it's cold, air conditioning when it's hot, and shelter from the rain, wind, sleet, snow, and hail. There is no doubt that holiday travel with your family can be taxing. We want to make sure the time spent in your car is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. Try these tips: Don’t forget the pillows. Traveling is exhausting. Make sure your kids are comfortable enough to take a nap. A car charger is a must. DVD players and phones help pass the time, but forgetting their chargers can be a disaster. Chargers need to be on your packing list. Stretch your legs at a pit stop: playgrounds, public libraries, coffee shops, aquariums etc. The list of possible pit stops are endless. Try incorporating one into your travel plan. It, most likely, will turn into a mini-adventure! Be prepared for cold weather. Bring emergency blankets, coats, and sweaters for your entire family. Dry erase boards are the best.
