Be selective about the number of suitcases you take and how much will go into them. If you can, travel lightly and purchase the toiletries and other disposables when you arrive at your destination. DVD players and phones help pass the time, but forgetting their chargers can be a disaster. Chargers need to be on your packing list. Stretch your legs at a pit stop: playgrounds, public libraries, coffee shops, aquariums etc. The list of possible pit stops are endless. Try incorporating one into your travel plan.
