Robert's works with the insurance to cut corners and not fix cars right. Took my car in for front bumper damage and returned it after a few days. The bumper became loose and was hanging. Argued with the service advisor and he said that's all Geico would pay for. Then the adjuster said it had previous damage. Then when I returned it for warranty, the adjuster said they found other damage and said they were fixing it and were going to make it right. Same thing happened again, the bumper is loose after a few days. Called and complained again. The service advisor, George, said it was out of his hands and told me to take it somewhere else. Spoke with the adjuster, same thing was said to me. They want me to pay for "previous" damage repair at another body shop. If there was previous damage, then I would expect a call during the repair process to be advised and given a chance to get it fixed right. Obviously they are lying. Now I have a loose bumper, they won't touch it and I was told to get estimates at other body shops and I did everything they asked. Guess what, they are still not going to touch my car. Thanks for a loose front bumper, headlamps that point in different directions, a misaligned hood that doesn't close properly that I have to pay for our of pocket to fix. Costs more now to get it repaired right. Impressive building and website, but can't fix cars right. Not even the second time.
Dear Mr. Alonso, We understand that you are unhappy with the result of your recent bumper repair. After you contacted us, you returned your vehicle to our shop, where we disassembled and checked for missed damage. Your insurance representative re-inspected the vehicle and our repair, and denied any further work. On this repair we stand by the quality of our work, since we put the vehicle back to its pre-accident condition. We even adjusted the bumper reinforcement for free to make sure the repair was the best it could be. The problem here is old underlying damage from a previous accident. This prevents the new bumper from having optimal fit without doing a lot of extra work. Your insurance company concluded this pre-existing damage was not related to the current claim, and that’s why they denied paying for the additional work. The safety of the bumper is not compromised; it is a cosmetic issue. If you wish to pay for the repairs yourself and not rely on your insurance company to pay for the claim, our team will be happy to make additional repairs until you are satisfied. We have many happy customers that have us repair their vehicles without an insurance claim.
