Provided exceptional customer service. They followed through on their commitment to me as a customer and took the time to make me feel like I mattered. A rare quality in the auto repair business. I will recommend Roberts Auto Repair to my friends and family. The story: A truck dropped a tire in front of me on Carmel Valley Road. Unable to avoid the tire I ran it over and the tire completely gutted my Toyota Yaris. My transmission was gone, the car was all over the road. It was taken to Roberts and the initial estimate was 6000, but when all was said and done, it came to 8000. Combining that with the deductible and the rental, it exceeded the value of the car, and it should have been considered total. My insurance paid. Roberts fixed it up. Months later couple minor problems came up that were related to the accident. Robert's Auto Repair took control and got me back into the shop. They took the time to repair the minor problems, no charge, no guilt. Robert's Auto Repair has not forgotten about providing quality customer service. Monterey is lucky to have an auto repair shop that doesn't take its customers for granted. Thanks.

I took my car in to get the brakes done and get my back window fixed. They stayed in contact all day to walk me through everything they did and get approval, and they cleaned my car to boot! I wound up having to pay more than I'd like, but no more than I would have at any other place, and the service was very friendly, they went above and beyond to make sure I'd get my car back when I needed it.

World class attention to service. All of my pre-conceived notions about a repair shop are gone. Their service level and attention to detail are beyond anything I've experienced with local auto shops. Bravo. Here, the customer is #1 and not just rhetoric. The employees care about the customer just as much as the owner does. I will definitely take my car here again.

Excellent service and very high quality work! Robert's Auto staff is the best I have seen in any auto repair shop. Everybody in the office is very friendly and easy to work with. They can do a lot more than paint & body - they do all kinds of repairs, even a simple maintenance service like an oil change - at a reasonable cost. They made our tired-looking truck look brand new, even though it has over 200,000 miles on it - it's purring like a kitten after some TLC at Robert's Auto! They can even build a race car! Robert's Auto Repair is a superbly run auto service. Extremely courteous, on time, on budget and exemplary workmanship......always have been incredibly satisfied with their service over the last four years!! Simple the best!

Five minutes after checking my car in for minor surgery, I'm in a shiny BMW being driven home. Later, I receive an email saying that the mechanic found an unforeseen problem, and the car's delivery will be delayed because he's attending to this new issue. By late afternoon, I'm back in my car, having paid less than the estimate predicted I'd pay--with the extra, unforeseen work included as part of the job.
